South Riding Storm
Team History
The South Riding Storm was formed during the Summer of 2005.  The Storm was founded by Head Coach Jeff Rush in order to allow girl's in the Dulles South Region of Loudoun County, Virginia the opportunity to participate in a competitive girl's soccer league.

In June of 2006 the South Riding Storm was extended an invitation to join the Washington Area Girls Soccer League (WAGS).  The Storm accepted the invitation and has been competing in WAGS since the Fall of 2006.

The mission of the Storm is to teach the game of soccer to girl's who are currently competing at the U13 level.  The teaching involves more advanced soccer education than is typically available at the House League level.  The objective of the coaching staff is
to enrich the skills of each player through teaching that emphasizes fundamental and advanced soccer skills.  The goal is also to help the girl's further their soccer skills and knowledge in a competitive soccer environment.  The coaching staff also realizes that soccer training and competition at the U13 level should be done in a positive and encouraging manner to allow the girls to have fun while developing their soccer skills.

The long-term mission of the Storm is to prepare girl's for the next level of soccer competition while continuing to maintain a proper balance between competition and personal development.
